What a proper service actually includes
This is a boiler service, not a visual once-over. Casing comes off, burner and heat exchanger are visually inspected, all seals and safety devices are tested, condensate trap is cleared and refilled, gas working pressure is measured, standing and working flue-gas readings are logged, and all electrical connections and controls are checked. It typically takes 45–60 minutes on a modern combi.
